"Dreams don’t work unless you do."
For almost 20 years I have worked and lived as international staff on the biggest oil & gas projects all over the world. Seeing and experiencing firsthand the macro and micro political and (socio-) economic impact of these projects as well as working and living in the UK, Russia, Qatar, UAE, India, Iraq and the USA have led me to a recent career pivot – working as an independent management consultant on scopes where I can identify with the cause (local business, humanitarian aid, crisis management, gender equality & women empowerment, coastal restoration, climate change, education, etc).
I have worked in the front end of project lifecycles as development manager on plans for field development, feasibility studies and country entries but also on the execution side in contract management, risk management, project controls, technical integration, interface management and cost recovery. In the last few years I was enlisted to aid business improvement such as competitiveness in project delivery, ways of working & strategy overhaul for 1 of 3 global project & technology hubs and competitiveness of operations in the Gulf of Mexico Deepwater business.
